FEBRUARY marked the launch of No.1 Traveller, a suite of ancillary services designed to create "a seamless journey for the discerning passenger, from driveway to runway."

In addition to stylish new No.1 lounges opened at Gatwick and Stansted airports last year, the company now offers chauffeured airport transfers, concierge services and a membership scheme, the latter likely to appeal to individual business travellers and companies to whom it is pitching its end-to-end product.

Corporate membership is available to companies registering five or more employees while individual travellers can subscribe to the No.1 Card for £28 per year, which includes one free lounge entry plus discounts on other No.1 services and complimentary use of the concierge facility.

Airport transfers are currently available to/from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, and are conducted by a fleet of Mercedes E, S and V class vehicles, with prices from Heathrow to London's West End starting from around £58.

Its lounges feature eye-catching designs and quirky features such as table football, as well magazines, newspapers, wifi internet and complimentary snacks and drinks. A further selection of Champagne drinks and cocktails is available for purchase. Lounge access is £17.50 per adult, or less with a No.1 Card.

No.1 Traveller will also be rolling out a valet parking service this year, and it aims to extend its services further across the UK this year and next, with a target of 60 per cent coverage of the UK travel market within 18 months.
