The Novotel London West has announced extensive refurbishment plans designed to make it one of Europe’s leading conference and convention hotels.
Work has already begun to upgrade the ground floor of the building, in particular the group and conference arrivals desk, with a further phased development plan set to transform the property.
General manager, Michael Sloan, said: “When I came to Novotel London West in April 2007, the hotel was already a successful venue for corporate accommodation and events of all sizes. However, we were all aware that the hotel had more potential and with our forthcoming investment we will strengthen our position as a top European venue.”
The proposed work has been more than 12 months in the planning and follows extensive research and consultation with clients. Visuals of the new look have been prepared and full details and timelines of the project will be revealed by International Confex in February.
Refurbishment work will include changes to the hotel's food and beverage outlets, with the existing restaurant receiving a complete makeover and the addition of a second restaurant at the hotel. The hotel’s Chablis Suite will also be totally re-designed with the addition of floating sound-proof walls, making it suitable for events for up to 500 delegates, as well as exhibitions and receptions for 1,000 people. The final phase of the work will be the upgrading of the hotel’s exterior, including the cladding and signage.
