THE hotel: The Jurys Inn Heathrow, Hatton Cross (three-star).

THe check-in: At first my booking was not located, but after a few minutes searching the reservation was found and I was checked-in with relative ease.

THE ROOM: The room was of adequate size for a short stay. It was air-conditioned and had satellite TV, internet access, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

THE BUSINESS: There were ten dedicated meeting rooms, the largest being able to accommodate 60 people theatre-style, 25 classroom style and 30 boardroom.

THE RESTAURANT: A restaurant offered a wide range of appetisers, main courses and desserts. The bar also offered a daily menu while the coffee bar offered a range of drinks and pastries.

THE FACILITIES: On-site car parking, wireless internet access, live flight information screens. No leisure facilities.

THE location: Situated a five minute walk from Hatton Cross Tube Station and one stop on the underground for Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at Heathrow. The hotel is also served by the H9 Hotel Hoppa Bus.

THE CHECK OUT: A quick and easy check-out. I was advised that I could wait in the restaurant or coffee bar and reception staff would advise me when the Hoppa Bus was ready to leave.

THE verdict: An extremely convenient place to stay for anyone needing to overnight before or after a flight arriving at or departing from Heathrow Airport. The hotel also offers meetings rooms and the accommodation offered all the amenities you'd expect of a good three-star property.
